yet
Silent and still yet
sad and hurt, this is the feeling that I get out of the main character of this
web comics update of The Abominable Charles Christopher. The web comic is made
up of seven panels where the owl that is the main character of this strip is in
only two different positions and only says one sentence. “Please don’t go” is
what he says without moving an inch. The mouse who is talking to the owl about
his recent loss of his child because his child left with his uncle somewhere and
had not seen him for some time. The mouse tells his story about his nine children
leaving and how he had to just let them go and he understood how the owl felt. This
was very touching at the beginning of the strip I felt that the owl was just
being rude because it looked like he was just ignoring and not even giving any
attention what so ever to the mouse. But in reality maybe he was trying to keep
his emotions in because he is such a prideful creature. I liked this week’s
update because it was fairly long and looked very beautifully well drawn. And well
proportioned. Will the mouse stay with the old owl? Will his son ever return or
will he have to go out and venture to find him and bring him back? We will find
out soon in the updates to come.
